Because we must be informed as we grow our children into adults I am providing the registered members of this site a news service. Aggregated news from the internet is pulled into one location for the user to read. Since this service requires system resources I do not wish to open this service to the anonymous user at this time. This insures a better product for the registered members. These news items are either related to the child or to parenting.

About

For-My-Kids.com was started so that I can share my stories about my kids and hopefully help you manage your children. Our family consists of two boys 2 1/2 years apart in age. The first is highly intelligent and the second has Down Syndrome but in his own right is as smart as he is onery and mischievous. My oldest is now a Junior in High School and will be leaving the nest soon. I am trying my best to spend some good quality time with him. The youngest will be with me for a good bit longer. Currently in the sixth grade, he went away for three days to what is called “Sixth Grade Camp” by the school system. Man did I ever miss that cheerful face that is always in mine and bugging me.I hope we can have fun sharing with one another. I know I’m going to have fun reliving the past 17 years as I write a few articles. I hope to read your posts about them. You need to know that I have no medical training and any offerings of advice need to be followed up with advice from a doctor. So if you find your little ones ill, get to the pediatritian.
