Pa Pa, my dad, is currently in the nursing home. His health has been failing for a few years now and he recently was admitted to the hospital due to dehydration, infection and kidney failure. After a dialysis cleaning of his blood he was released to the nursing home for antibiotic treatment.

My family visited Pa Pa and he was glad to see us. MaMoo, my mother, was also there visiting which was great to see her as well. We discovered that Pa Pa is currently in a lot of pain. He is being monitored for high blood sugar and being given insulin as needed. He no longer gets out of bed and has become too week to stand.

At one point in the visit Pa Pa writhed in pain scaring Andrew. Jonathan took Andrew out of the room and we prepared to leave. Andrew loves Pa Pa and his tender heart cannot bare to see anyone in pain. Life can be rough and I'm afraid Andrew is in for some heart breaks.
